Abstract

Abstract-Chatter vibration occurs approximate all type of cutting operations. It is obstacles to achieving desired productivity. Regenerative chattering is most common type of tool chatter. It’s detrimental effects creates excessive vibrations between tool and work piece and results poor surface finish. Accelerated vibration and high pitch noise reduces the tool life. There are various types of techniques has been invented by several researchers to prediction and detection of tool chatter subjected to avoid chatter occurrence in cutting processes in order to obtain better surface finish, higher productivity and increasing tool life. In this research we are considering how to chatter stability predictions and detections and tool chatter control techniques in machine process. The aim of this research is finding out the most suitable technique to identify and prediction of tool chatter and in order to predict tool wear and increasing tool life in presence of chatter vibration. Keywords: Chattering, Harmonic Vibration, Random Vibration
