NANOBIOSENSORS FOR REAL TIME DETECTION OF WATER POLLUTANTS LEAD, ARSENIC AND PESTICIDES
Abstract
Water contamination by heavy metals and pesticides poses a serious threat to public health and ecosystems, particularly in developing and densely populated regions. Conventional detection techniques, though accurate, are often time-consuming, expensive, and unsuitable for real-time monitoring. Nano-biosensors have emerged as a powerful alternative due to their high sensitivity, selectivity, rapid response, and portability. This paper explores the design, working principles, and applications of nano-biosensors for the real-time detection of key water pollutants such as lead, arsenic, and pesticides. It also discusses recent advancements, challenges, and future perspectives in the field. Keywords: Nano-biosensors, Water Pollution, Lead Detection, Arsenic Detection, Pesticides, Real-Time Monitoring, Nanotechnology.
