Abstract

This essay gives a summary of the evolution of wind energy from antiquity to the present, emphasising both wind and grid power generation. In comparison to the previous three decades, wind power generation has increased. Power converter technology played a significant part in the development of wind power generation due to the rapidly increasing demand for wind electricity. Due to the complexity of wind energy technology, we are concentrating on a reactive power control method in this study. This allows for the efficient management of output power through the use of a Static Synchronous Compensator, or COM. Because fluctuating output is crucial for wind power generation.
