EVALUATION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH IN FLY ASH AND COCONUT FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE

Abstract

The foundational material in the construction industry is concrete. A binder and filler make up the fundamental idea of the concrete substance. Environmentalists have identified cement and concrete as one of the industries that are not ecologically friendly due to the energy required to burn the raw materials for cement in the kiln up to 1450 degrees Celsius and the CO2 waste that is released into the atmosphere. Calcium Hydroxide (CaOH), on the other hand, is a cement ingredient that can be used in innovative ways. It reacts with pozzolan material to generate Calcium Silicate Hydrates (CSH), which provide concrete more strength and durability.
