A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ONLINE AND OFFLINE METHOD OF SHOPPING

Abstract

Shopping has altered a lot recently, due to the influence of technology where some people are inclined towards online shopping and while some prefer traditional offline shopping. The current study aims to study the consumers behavior of towards online & offline shopping. Consumers Behavior & their buying patterns have changed over the years because Indian Consumers are very particular about their products. Online & Offline shopping both have its advantages & disadvantages. Consumers use both online & offline medium of shopping on the basis of their liking & comfort at the particular moments. Data for this study was collected from primary & secondary data. This research paper highlights the change in consumer behavior towards online & offline shopping. It was concluded that consumers tend to shop offline more than online. Consumers are not keen to shift from offline to online method as the touch, trail, feels is what they want the most which they get from offline medium of shopping.
