AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE DRIVERS OF FINTECH ADOPTION: A CONSUMERS’ PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

In last few decades, financial institutions, financial procedures and financial services have evolved and improved considerably. The collaboration between finance and technology has led to a radical change in several aspects of finances like banking, investment, trading, crypto currency and more. This evolution has led to the popularity of a term “Fintech,” a short form for the phrase Financial Technology. This paper sheds light on what Fintech is and why has it become a buzz in the modern world.This research paper also aims to comprehensively investigate the factors influencing the adoption of financial technology (FinTech) solutions among consumers.A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect data. The implications of these findings provide valuable insights for Fintech firms to design more effective marketing strategies and enhance consumer engagement.
