GENDER DIFFERENCES IN ATTITUDES TOWARD PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Abstract
This paper explores the gender differences in attitudes toward physical education (PE) among students. The research examines how gender influences students' perceptions, motivations, and engagement in PE classes, alongside the role that societal norms and expectations play in shaping these attitudes. The study provides insights into the different levels of interest and participation between male and female students in physical education, focusing on factors such as perceived competence, social influences, and educational experiences. Through a review of existing literature, data collection, and analysis, the paper discusses the implications of these differences for PE curriculum design, teaching strategies, and fostering inclusive environments in schools. Recommendations for promoting gender equity in physical education are also provided. Keywords: Gender differences, physical education, student attitudes, participation, educational experiences, gender equity.
