TEACHING COMPETENCY OF TEACHER EDUCATORS WORKING IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC FUNDED INSTITUTIONS
Abstract
Present study is descriptive in nature, investigates the teaching competency of teacher educators working in private and public funded institutions. A total of 200 teacher educators are selected using stratified random sampling technique. The data is obtained through self-made Teaching Competence Observation Schedule (TCOS). Results indicates, there is no significant difference in the teaching competency of teacher educators working in private and public funded institution. Male and Female teacher educators working in private and public funded institutions do not differ significantly in the teaching competency. Significant difference is found between teaching competency of female teacher educators working in private and public funded institutions.
