Abstract- For many years, trusses have served as one of the excellent load carrying members for domestic and industrial buildings, and are becoming more-and-more useful day-by-day. Present research work is devoted to the trusses, and presents the summaries of research contributions made by different researchers in the field of trusses, identified gaps in the research and concludes with objectives of the new research.
